if you keep repeating the process, you can split the shell of the coin from the base copper, it is really cool.

i you heat and quench a clad quarter or dime in alcohol, you will leach the copper from inside and it will adhear to the outside and turn it rose coppery pink, these look cool as well.
sand down quarters or 50c pieces and then restamp the coin with our own image
